Welcome to Rumney Hill Dental Surgery Cardiff.
The practice was established in 1979 by Dr. Paul Bartley. Dr. Bartley was brought up in Llanrumney and following his graduation from the university Dental Hospital in Cardiff in 1974, went to work for a few years in Newport, before setting up Rumney Hill dental surgery with his wife Carole, who works as a Hygienist.
The practice quickly established itself and expanded over the years to the current set up where there are 4 well equipped, air conditioned surgeries employing 4 Dentists; hygienists; Nurses and reception staff.
The practice is very much a family type practice and we provide care for people of all ages from the surrounding areas and further afield.
We offer a wide range of treatments under the NHS as well as private treatments. New patients are welcome for both NHS and private care.
In order to keep up to date with modern developments and treatments, all staff attend regular courses to ensure they keep their skills up to date. As well as ensuring our clinical skills are up to date, we also continue to modernise the facilities and equipment in the practice. We also ensure we keep up to date with new developments in materials and techniques.
In 2008, we achieved the “British Dental Association Good Practice Silver Award”, one of only a handful of practices in Wales to achieve it. This is an award which recognises the Practice’s commitment to quality and continued improvement in clinical, administrative and managerial procedures.
