Dental Bridges

A bridge can be a very effective way of replacing a missing tooth. They come in a number of forms but the 2 main types are known as conventional and adhesive. A conventional bridge is at its simplest a crown with another tooth attached to it. The tooth/teeth either side the gap are prepared for a crown then a bridge is made in a lab with the replacement tooth attached.

An adhesive bridge uses a metal "wing" to fix to an adjacent tooth. A special dental glue is used to hod it in place .
